White German Shepherd and Stock Dog Accomplishments - Obedience

Here are some recent accomplishments by white German Shepherds and white factored German Shepherds in obedience.

This does not include dogs who do amazing things at WGSDCA shows. All results from WGSDCA shows can be found here.

June 7-8, 2008 – UKC Shows – Lake Elmo, MN WGSDCA BIF/BIM 5x Select Ch. / WGSDCII Select / ARBA BIS Master Ch. / UKC 5x BIMBS 2x RBIMBS Grand GSD Ch. / IABCA Multi. Ch. Eclipse's Strength of Atlas, RN, RL1, TN-N, WAX, WVDA, WROM, O-V, CGC, TDI, OFA (Atlas) competed in Family Obedience and earned his UKC Family Obedience title and a Total Dog award.
April 26-27, 2008 – Saint Paul Dog Training AKC Obedience Trial – Saint Paul, MN UKC GSD Ch. McT's Hunter, CDX, CGC, OFA (Hunter) owned by Ron and Ann Halling competed with Ron in utility and qualified for his first leg towards his UD. WGSDCA/UKC Grand GSD Ch. Zephyr's Adelaide Princess, CD, CGC, OFA (Addie) owned by Ann and Melissa Halling competed with Melissa in open and qualified for the second leg towards her CDX.
January 5-6, 2008 – AKC Obedience Trials – St. Paul, MN U-CDX UKC Grand Ch. Juel's Independence Day, CDX, RE, SDCH, WVSD, CGC, OFA (Indy) owned by Elaine Hurrle qualified on Saturday in Open B with a 197.5 and on Sunday with a 198 and 3rd place.
December 8-9, 2007 – AKC Obedience Trial – St. Cloud, MN U-CDX UKC Grand Ch. Juel's Independence Day, CDX, RE, SDCH, WVSD, CGC, OFA (Indy) owned by Elaine Hurrle qualified on Saturday in Open B with a 197 and on Sunday with a 196.
November 10, 2007 - Minnesota Mixed Breed Club UKC Obedience Trial - Lake Elmo, MN U-CD UKC Grand Ch. Juel's Independence Day, CDX, RE, SDCH, WVSD, CGC, OFA (Indy) owned by Elaine Hurrle competed in Open B. In the first show, Indy got a score of 197.5 and 2nd place. In the second show, she got a score of 198.5 and 2nd place. This finished her U-CDX title!!!
September 23, 2007 – UKC Shows – Minneapolis, MN U-CD UKC Grand Ch. Juel's Independence Day, CDX, RE, SDCH, WVSD, CGC, OFA (Indy) owned by Elaine Hurrle competed in Open obedience and qualified with a 196 and fourth place!
June 23, 2007 – German Shepherd Dog Club of Minneapolis / St. Paul Specialty – Lake Elmo, MN UKC Ch. U-CD Juel's Independence Day, CDX, RE, CGC, OFA (Indy) owned by Elaine Hurrle qualified in Open B with a score of 195.5. This score not only earned Indy first place in her class, but also earned her High in Trial at the specialty!
March 11, 2007 – Wright County Minnesota Kennel Club – Minneapolis, MN UKC Ch. U-CD Juel's Independence Day, CDX, RE, CGC, OFA (Indy) owned by Elaine Hurrle competed in Open Obedience for a bonus leg and earned 2nd place of 17 dogs with a score of 194.5!
February 24, 2007 – Minneapolis Kennel Club AKC Trial – Minneapolis, MN UKC Ch. U-CD Juel's Independence Day, CD, RE, CGC, OFA (Indy) owned by Elaine Hurrle competed in Open A Obedience and she qualified with a 3rd place! This was her final leg towards her AKC Companion Dog Excellent Title.

January 6, 2007 – Land O’ Lakes Kennel Club – St. Paul, MN UKC Ch. U-CD Juel's Independence Day, CD, RE, CGC, OFA (Indy) owned by Elaine Hurrle competed in Open A Obedience and she qualified with a 194.5 and a 3rd place! This was her second leg towards her AKC Companion Dog Excellent Title.
December 3, 2006 – Northstar Rottweiler Club AKC Obedience Trial – St. Paul, MN UKC Ch. U-CD Juel's Independence Day, CD, RE, CGC, OFA (Indy) owned by Elaine Hurrle competed in Novice B and she got a score of 197 with a 2nd place!!! Indy also debuted in Open A got a score of 194.5.
Front and Finish Magazine UKC GSD Ch. McT's Hunter, CDX, CGC, OFA (Hunter) owned by Ron and Ann Halling was ranked #8 in the herding group for obedience!
November 11, 2006 – MN Mixed Breed Club UKC Obedience Trial – Hugo, MN UKC Ch. U-CD Juel's Independence Day, CD, RE, CGC, OFA (Indy) owned by Elaine Hurrle was entered in Novice C (for dogs that have their novice title) and placed 2nd show one with a 195 and 1st in show two with a 196. She also tried Open A and did great. In both shows she earned first place, first with a 196 and then with a 196.5.
September 23, 2006 - UKC Obedience Trial - Minneapolis, MN UKC GSD Ch. / IABCA Ch. Eclipse’s Wild Card of Atlas, RN, CGC (Vegas) owned by Tracie Karsjens competed in the sub-novice class and took second place.

August 26-27, 2006 – St. Croix Valley Kennel Club AKC Obedience Trial – Lake Elmo, MN UKC GSD Ch. McT’s Hunter, CD, OFA (Hunter) owned by Ron and Ann Halling competed with Ron in Open A obedience and qualified on Saturday with a first place to finish Hunter’s AKC Companion Dog Excellent Title!!!

July 14-16, 2006 – Duluth Kennel Club Obedience Trial – Duluth, MN WGSDCA GV and Select Ch. /UKC GSD Ch. / IABCA Nat'l UCI Ch. O'Leavy's Real McCoy, CGC, TDI, OFA (McCoy) and Pat Malinowski competed in Novice B Obedience all three days of the trial. They qualified all three days to earn McCoy’s AKC Companion Dog Title.

April 29-30, 2006 - St. Paul Dog Training Club AKC Obedience Trial - South St. Paul, MN UKC Ch. McT's Hunter, CD, OFA (Hunter) and owner Ron Halling competed in Open A obedience and earned their first leg with a first place!

January 28-29, 2006 - North Star Herding Group Club AKC Obedience Trial - Hugo, MN McT's Hunter, CD (Hunter) owned by Ron and Ann Halling competed in Novice B and took 3rd place with a 195.5 on Saturday and 1st place on Sunday with a 197! WGSDCA/UKC Grand GSD Ch. Zephyr's Adelaide Princess, CD (Addie) owned by Ann and Melissa Halling competed in Novice A Obedience and took 1st place on Saturday with a 193.5 and 1st on Sunday with a 196.5!

November 12-13, 2005 - Minnesota Mixed Breed Club UKC Obedience Trial - Brooklyn Park, MN UKC Ch. Juel's Independence Day, RA, CGC, OFA (Indy) and owner Elaine Hurrle earned their UKC CD with 195.5 with a 1st place, a 195 with a 2nd place, and a 195.5 with a 1st place in Novice obedience!!

November 4-5, 2005 - Bloomington Obedience Training Center AKC Obedience Trial - Bloomington, MN UKC Ch. Juel's Independence Day, RA, CGC, OFA (Indy) and owner Elaine Hurrle earned a qualifying leg on Saturday in Novice Obedience with a 195 and third place! This finished Indy's AKC Companion Dog title (CD)! Indy also earned a Dog World Award and a Front and Finish Award for excellent scores. Indy and Elaine also qualified in Novice Obedience on Sunday with third place!

October 22-23, 2005 - Twin Cities Obedience Training Center AKC Obedience Trial - Minneapolis, MN UKC Ch. Juel's Independence Day, RA, CGC, OFA (Indy) and owner Elaine Hurrle earned the first two qualifying legs towards Indy's AKC Companion Dog Title with outstanding scores of 195 1/2 and 196!

October 8-9, 2005 - AKC Obedience Trial - South St. Paul, MN WGSDCA/UKC Grand GSD Ch. Zephyr's Adelaide Princess (Addie) owned by Ann and Melissa Halling competed in Novice Obedience and earned two legs towards her AKC Companion Dog Title. She earned a 195.5 and third place on Saturday and a 193.5 on Sunday!

April 30 - May 1, 2005 - AKC Obedience Trial - South St. Paul, MN At the St. Paul Dog Training Club McT's Hunter (Hunter) and owner Ron Halling earned first place in Novice A both days!! Hunter was the High Scoring GSD on Saturday! This also gives them the last two legs toward their AKC Companion Dog Title! Way to go Hunter and Ron on your new title!

January 7, 2005 - AKC Obedience Trial - South St. Paul, MN At the St. Paul Dog Training Club McT's Hunter (Hunter) and owner Ron Halling earned first place in Novice A!! This also gives them the first leg toward their AKC Companion Dog Title! Way to go!

September 27 -28, 2003 - AKC Obedience Trial - Fargo, ND IABCA Nat'l Junghund Ch. Juel's Gluck Und Erstaunen, CGC, OFA (Elsa) owned by Angela Esser earned a qualifying score on Saturday and placed third. That score did not count towards their CD, since they had already qualified under that judge. However, on Sunday, Elsa and Angie qualified and earned 4th place. This was the final leg Elsa needed for her AKC CD!! Way to go Angie and Elsa!

September 13 -14, 2003 - AKC Obedience Trial - Rochester, MN On Saturday, Honeyhills Jazmin Selena (Jazz) owned by Myrna Giles earned the second leg towards her AKC CD title with a score of 188. On Sunday, Jazz and Myrna earned their third and final leg (with a score of 183) earning their AKC CD title!!! Myrna and Jazz competed in Novice B. Way to go Myrna and Jazz!! At the same trial, IABCA Nat'l Junghund Ch. Juel's Gluck Und Erstaunen, CGC, OFA (Elsa) owned by Angela Esser earned two legs towards her AKC CD title with two qualifying scores. Way to go Angie and Elsa!!! To round out the winners, Vantasia's Maxwell So Smart, CD, ECHO, CGC, TDI (Max) owned by Lori Ashleson who earned his CD the weekend before, finished in 3rd place on Saturday with a score of 191 and 1st place on Sunday with a score of 194! Good job Lori and Max!

September 6 - 7, 2003 - AKC Obedience Trial - Des Moines, IA Vantasia's Maxwell So Smart, ECHO, CGC, TDI (Max) owned by Lori Ashleson earned his AKC CD title! He earned his first leg in August, and earned the final two this weekend. On Saturday, he won second place with a score of 188 and on Sunday he earned third place with a score of 192.5. Way to go Lori and Max!! At the same trial, Honeyhills Jazmin Selena (Jazz) owned by Myrna Giles earned the first leg towards her AKC CD title with a score of 190.5. Way to go Myrna and Jazz!!

August 2-3, 2003 - WSCC National - Alvinston, ON, Canada UKC GSD Ch. Vantasia's Merlin Lancelot (Merlin) and Vantasia Sugarloaf Spyce O Lyfe (Spyce) both owned by Linda Lessler both earned qualifying scores at the obedience fun match during the WSCC National Weekend. Way to go!!!

WGSDCII National Show - June 23, 2003 - Pheonix, AZ U-CD JoKay's Czardona Weiss Lobo CD, CGC (Lobo) at the age of 12 won "High Scoring WGSD" with a score of 195 at the WGSDCII Nationals in Phoenix, AZ. His sister JoKay's Porcelain China Doll, CD, CGC (Lily) won a second place with a score of 192.5! Both dogs are owned by Joe and Kathy Partch.
